So you think that you are a good driver? Want to improve your driving safety?WHAT IS SMARTDRIVER?
SmartDriver is a driver scoring and coaching app designed to keep drivers, passengers, and pedestrians safe. The app is paired with a physical hardware device that is installed in your vehicle which detects poor driving practices.
WHAT DOES SMARTDRIVER DO?
The SmartDriver app provides human voice audio indicating the driving incident detected and as well as coaching on how to avoid committing the incident next time around. The app will also provide the driving score for the day as well as the number and type of driving incidents committed.
Your score will be calculated on a per 100km per day basis, which means that if drove poorly for the first 100km, you have the opportunity to improve your score for the rest of your journey.
WHAT EVENTS DOES SMARTDRIVER DETECT?
SmartDriver is able to detect number of events depending on the hardware installed in the vehicle. The below list provides the current events that will be used to calculate you score and trigger the driver coaching feature.

IMPORTANT:
Disable "Manage Automatically" in the your phones settings for the SmartDriver App

Start the app before the start of your trip. Though the app is designed to run in the background, the security settings on some mobile devices will force the app to close.
