Departmental Seminars for Local Seventh-day Adventist Church Leaders.

About this app

The work of a pastor, especially in the environment of the Church in Africa is a work that requires the Pastor to provide many services. The pastor works as a marriage counselor, the pastor works as the main overseer of the Church, the pastor prepares many sermons that take a lot of time (it is said that one good sermon takes six to sixteen hours of work, the pastor serves as the guardian of his own family, the pastor serves as the Church's relations officer for the community around him, the pastor should be a teacher of basic beliefs and teachings of prophecy, the pastor stands as the chairman of the Church council meetings.

This work becomes even greater when such a pastor has two or more churches. There are places where I have seen a pastor shepherd until the churches participate or more. In such an environment, it is not easy for the Pastor to give an orientation seminar to every leader in the Church. Seminars are often held in general and do not go deep because the pastor is struggling with the number of services he has to fulfill at the same time with little time to fulfill all of them.

This App has been developed to simplify the Work of the Pastor but also to make it easier for the members to recognize the services that take place in the Church. This app does not aim to completely remove the seminars that should be held by the pastor. However, it is good to realize this in advance that: the final guide of what should be done by the leadership in the Church is the Pastor of the Church. These seminars should (if there is an argument) be explained by the person responsible for looking after the Church.
