Planet Finder is an astronomy app providing quick orientation of planets, stars and celestial bodies in the night sky. It has a simple and intuitive user interface making it ideal to explore the sky.

In the free version you'll get:

· Astronomy compass with the 10 brightest and the 10 closest stars
·  Real time information about planets and stars
·  Player interface to check future and historical positions
·  3D display of Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto
·  3D display of most Solar System satellites

In the premium version you'll also get:

·  Planetarium that allows you to see planets, stars, constellations, galaxies and all kind of celestial bodies that your device points at
·  Augmented reality planetarium view to see planets, stars, constellations, galaxies and all kind of celestial bodies through your device's camera lens
·  Solar system simulator to get a feel of our solar system, its dimensions and your orientation within it
·  MySky that is a set of 10 custom defined celestial bodies that are displayed in the Planetarium view and the Astronomy Compass view

It's extremely easy! Just launch the application to obtain an instant overview of the planets surrounding you. You're in a geocentric position in the middle of the screen, on Earth, and the planets are being displayed around you. If a planet is above the Compass Ring and is highlighted, it's visible. If the planet is below the Compass Ring, towards the center of the Earth, it is shadowed and below your horizon. The same applies to all the other celestial bodies types.
