About this app

At the time of the Caliph Umar, the Qadisiyah region which was one of the major cities in Persia (Iran and present-day Iraq) was conquered and Sa'd bin Abi Waqqash, one of the ten companions who was guaranteed to enter heaven when he was alive, became his Amir. After some time, Umar ordered Sa'd to send his friend Nadhlah bin Muawiyah to conquer Hulwan, still including other Persian territories.

With 300 horsemen, Nadhlah laid siege to Hulwan City for a while so they surrendered, declaring their submission to Medina. Nadhlah returned to Qadisiyah with quite a lot of jizyah and ghanimah. On the way, they stopped at a plain under the mountains because it was already time for prayer. Nadhlah stood up chanting the call to prayer, but in between the answers to the call to prayer from members of his army, another voice was heard from the top of the mountain which coincided with his call to prayer, and they all heard it quite clearly.
