The Spirit is a beautiful book, and it was my key to entering the writings of Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him. The book is divided into issues, and each issue mentions and discusses the sayings of the mujtahids, and either confirms or denies them according to what is seen in the Qur’an and Sunnah. In the first issues of the book, the discussion was about the souls of people in the grave and what became of their Lord's bliss or torment, according to the dreams of some righteous living. Then he moves on to the issues of the soul, soul and body, and mentions the reassuring soul, blame and the emirate, then comes up with similar topics except in a poem and shows the differences so that the believer does not fall into their suspicion such as courage and boldness, forgiveness and humiliation, the angels inspire us and Satan and others, so the writer takes a very beautiful spiritual path in the last part of the book. An important book that contains a lot of information that benefits us in our religion and our world. Every Muslim should read it.
