About this app

The book of Risalah Ahl as-Sunnah Wa al-Jama'ah is one of KH's works. Hasyim Asy'ari who is quite famous and studied in several places, especially among the Nahdliyin. Initially, the book was printed in the form of a sahifah (sheet), then later it was printed in the form of an anthology (collection), even equipped with a pesantren-style gandul meaning. The contents are fresh enough to be studied, especially the discussion about sunnah and bid'ah which creates many differences for certain groups. There is also a discussion about death, the signs of the end of the world, accompanied by hadiths in each discussion.

There is no explicit mention of the background of the writing of the book, but it is implicitly contained in the purpose of its writing, namely "so that it can serve as advice for anyone who studies it".

In general, the method used in the Risalah Ahl as-Sunnah Wa al-Jama'ah is by quoting and explaining a hadith in order to clarify the discussion on each of its hadiths. While the methods of quoting the hadith are: mentioning the hadith by writing down the hadiths only, mentioning the hadiths by writing the hadiths and also the mukharrij of the hadiths, mentioning the hadiths by writing the sanad, the hadith eyes and also the mukharrij traditions.

Regarding the traditions contained in the book Risalah Ahl as-Sunnah Wa al-Jama'ah, not all of them come from al-polar at-tis'ah. In Sahih Bukhari there are 10 traditions, Sahih Muslim has 5 hadiths, Sunan at-Tirmidhi has 10 traditions, Sunan Abu Daud has 3 hadiths, Sunan Ibn Majah has 3 traditions, Musnad Ahmad has 8 traditions, Imam Malik has 3 traditions. Meanwhile, in the Sunan an-Nasa'i and the Sunan ad-Darimi books, no hadiths are found in the Risalah book. Regarding other traditions which are not sourced from al-polar at-tis'ah, among them are quoted from the narrations of Ibn as-Sakir, Ibn Sirrin, ad-Dailami, and Tabrani.

Although not all hadiths contained in the book Risalah Ahl as-Sunnah Wa al-Jama'ah come from al-polar at-tis'ah, in general, the quality of these hadiths is authentic and can be used as evidence. Apart from the existence of several traditions which are considered dho'if. Because when viewed from the point of view of his eyes, there is no thought of a hadith that contradicts the Qur'an, contradicts the hadith which is stronger and contrary to common sense.

The application of the Book of Risalah Ahlusunnah also includes:
- Complete Yasin Letter and Amma Juice (Tahlil and Daily Prayer)
- Islamic Motivation Stories (Faith Enhancer and Proof of the Greatness of Allah)
- The awesomeness of Dzikir and Prayer
