The iOn HEALING™ Mobile App from KCI USA, Inc. (KCI), now a part of 3M, is free for use by healthcare professionals in the U.S. The app offers a suite of tools designed to improve customer support, streamline business processes, and facilitate more efficient and effective communication between healthcare professionals and V.A.C.® Therapy representatives. The iOn HEALING™ App serves to facilitate a healthcare provider’s relationship with KCI by providing the following main functions:•tV.A.C.® Therapy Orders: Place V.A.C.® Therapy or V.A.C.® Dressing & Supply orders for patient use in the home and instantly transmit them to KCI for processing of homecare orders (KCI is the Covered Entity billing for the ordered DME products)
•tManage Outcomes: Send patient’s wound assessments to KCI for DME reimbursement and claims processing (TPO)
•tConnect & Consult: Contact the local V.A.C.® Therapy representative to discuss potential treatment options or to request support
•tProduct Navigator: Find appropriate treatment options to best manage a patient’s wound
•tProduct Portfolio: Obtain information on the wide range of wound therapies and dressings available from KCI
•tVideo Tutorials: Learn about products, dressing application techniques, mechanisms of action, and much more
