About this app
In this app you can determine resistor values through color bands or by directly inputting resistance.This app supports resistors for three, four, five, or six band resistors.
- Three Band Resistor - (2 digits, multiplier)
- Four Band Resistor - (2 digits, multiplier, tolerance)
- Five Band Resistor - (3 digits, multiplier, tolerance)
- Six Band Resistor - (3 digits, multiplier, tolerance, temperature coefficient (PPM))
Using "Color-to-Value": Simply select the appropriate number of bands and choose colors in the dropdown menus. The app will display the calculated values at the bottom of the screen. Note that on smaller screens, the dropdowns become scrollable for ease of selection.
For "Value-to-Color": Input the desired resistance value while adhering to strict input guidelines. Select the preferred units, and if prompted, specify tolerance and temperature coefficient. By pressing the calculate button, the app generates the corresponding resistor.
Switch effortlessly between different calculation modes by tapping the arrow button located in the top-right corner.
Additionally, you can share or copy the resistor values via the app's menu options.
