PSALM 91 CATHOLIC
❤️ You who dwell under the protection of the Most High and reside in the shadow of the Almighty,
tell the Lord: "My refuge, my refuge, my God, in whom I put my trust."
He will free you from the snare of the hunter and the scourge of misfortune;
he will cover you with his feathers and you will find a refuge under his wings.
You will not fear the fears of the night or the arrow fired by day,
neither the plague that advances in the darkness, nor the plague that strikes in the full sun.
Even if a thousand men fall at your side and ten thousand at your right, you will be out of danger: their loyalty will be your shield and armor.
Just look with your eyes and you will see how the wicked are paid.
But you say: "My refuge is the Lord", you have made the Most High your asylum.
Misfortune will not reach you, nor will the plague approach your store:
for he has ordered the angels to escort you in all your ways.
In their hands they will have to support you so that your foot does not trip on some stone;
you will walk on snakes and lions and you will step on cubs and dragons.
