Al-Jami' or commonly known as Kitab Sahih Muslim is a book (book) collection of hadith compiled by Imam Muslim (full name: Abul Husain Muslim bin al-Hajjaj al-Naisaburi) who lived between 202 to 261 hijriah. He is a student of Imam Bukhari.
Sahih Muslim is divided into several books where each book consists of several chapters. The title of the chapter shows Imam Muslim's jurisprudence on the hadiths contained therein. Sahih Bukhari together with the book Sahih Muslim is referred to as ash-Shahihain (Two Sahih Books main references).
The Sahih Bukhari Book and the Sahih Muslim Book are the most authentic hadith books when compared to other hadith books, these two authentic books are also known as As-Shahihain (if translated into Indonesian it roughly means "two authentic books'), will but not all authentic hadiths are found in the As-Shahihain book.
