VitiCanopy is a tool that measures grapevine canopy size and architecture

About this app

Canopy size is directly correlated to photosynthetic capacity and water requirements; understanding its variability allows growers to identify zones of characteristic performance and apply targeted management.

VitiCanopy is an image-based tool that measures grapevine canopy size and architecture by simply taking images of the vine. It uses cover digital photography and automated analysis by applying gap size assessment algorithms to measure Plant Area Index (PAI), Canopy Porosity and Canopy Cover.

The VitiCanopy mobile app is easy to use and allows you to:
* Measure canopy architecture easily and objectively at any time.
* Create maps of your vineyard to identify variability and better target your vineyard management.
* Create and keep a history of vineyards and compare within and between seasons.
* Focus inputs where they are needed and increase profitability.
