Originally this station was dedicated to sports, since it was born in February 1991 under the name of FM Sport, belonging to Eduardo Eunerkián.In March 1997, the station was taken over by Daniel Hadad, becoming FM News.
In April 2000, the station changed its name and image again, becoming Mega 98.3 and focusing on national rock. Since 2012 it has been owned by Grupo Indalo
