Peace be upon him, God Almighty said: “And Solomon inherited David.” An-Naml/16.Ibn Katheer said: “He inherited him in prophethood and kingship without money, because the money of the prophets is not inherited, and what they leave is charity, and God Almighty singled him out for things that the Holy Qur’an told us, including that God Almighty taught him the speech of birds … and his dominion over humans, jinn and birds … he said.
