It starts out so innocent. A game of fire in the school toilet. A forty match in the trash can only. Hardly any paper in it even.

14 seconds later, you and your friends are standing there as the fire springs out of the trash like a volcanic eruption on Nocco. Nine jumps. Oh, what you run. The gym teacher would be sick impad over how fast you can suddenly run.

Some who are not so impotent, however, are everyone else at school. When they stand out in the school yard and watch the whole building burn down.

And you who would just fire a little.

ABOUT THE GAME
Up in Rök is the lightweight and charming mobile game that lets you play the fire, in the middle of an ongoing school fire. The fire wants to reach as far as possible.

Your goal is to control the fire through the school's corridors, classrooms, libraries, chemistry labs and gymnasiums. Objects you hit catch fire, which is spectacular but also slows you down. Too much of a good thing makes you stop completely and the round is over.

The distance you can go with the fire is translated into repair costs.

Behind the mobile game “Up in Smoke” stands the Fire Protection Association. It has been developed as an entertaining and at the same time learning element in their continuous work at Swedish schools, where they inform about the risks and consequences of fire. What begins small and innocent can end in enormous destruction and enormous financial consequences. The primary task of the mobile game is to inform about this without painting young people on the nose.
