We update 2GIS – it has become difficult to show everything we found out about the city and companies in the current version of the app. In new 2GIS we have changed the design, made a new search, improved the city update and merged favorites with 2gis.ru

Services, addresses and companies
2GIS knows which provider operates in your house, where there is a district hospital or a post office. Will help you to choose a cafe or a service center by reviews and photos. Will show the opening hours and the telephone number.

Transport and navigation
If you are driving, 2GIS will guide you along the road and warn you about the maneuvers using the voice instructions. Will take traffic jams and blocked streets into account. Will update the route if you deviate from your way. For pedestrians, it will find the options of going by buses, metro, trains, cable cars and river trams.

Walking routes
Pedestrian navigation paves the way wherever you can go on foot. Works in the background, supports voice guidance.

Friends on the map
Now you can find your friends and kids on the map! 2GIS shows the real-time location of your friends. You decide who to add as friends and who will see your location. Manage your visibility in the settings.

Building entrances
In order not to look for an entrance to a business center you need, look in 2GIS. The application knows how to enter into 2.5 million companies. If you are looking for route directions for public transport or a car, 2GIS will show the way to the very door.

Plans of shopping centres
2GIS helps to navigate inside shopping centers. Shows everything: from shops and cafes to ATMs and toilets. Find places in advance to save time.

A 2GIS beta Notifications companion app for smart watches on Wear OS. A handy tool for navigating routes on foot, by bike or by public transport from the main 2GIS beta app: view the map, get manoeuver hints and get vibration alerts when approaching a turn or a destination bus stop. The companion starts automatically when you start navigation on your phone. Available for Wear OS 3.0 or later versions.

You will be the first one to get updates as the bugs and errors are corrected and you will contribute to the development of a new version of 2GIS which will be installed by millions of users. There is no need to delete the original version – the beta version works simultaneously and you can switch between the two of them at any moment.
