On Wola Schools, parents set notifications that alert them when the bus is arriving to their nearest bus stop. Its system tracks the school bus in real time and lets parents know if the bus is late, if it has stopped along the route or if it has not left the school yet.
HOW DOES WOLA SCHOOLS TRACKS THE SCHOOL BUS?
Wola Schools is an app that both parents and the monitor that goes with the children should have. It is activated when the monitor chooses the option to leave the school from his/her smartphone. From that moment, parents receive a notification and can access to the map that tracks the school bus in real time.
This is a novelty way to connect with children in the school and feel safe and sound about their location, without children having to acquire a smartphone to communicate with their families.
NOTIFICATIONS
Wola solves a common problem of communication that parents face when the back to school time arrives. With is location system, parents are able to receive a notification when the bus is arriving to the bus stop they set as their closest one.
It also gives them the chance to receive an alert 10 minutes before the estimated time of arrival of the bus school. As the app works with the schools, there is a predefined list with all the stops of that specific route that parents can check at any time.
PRIVACY
Children security is a need, that is why Wola is not accessible to all, only parents with a special code provided by their identification at the school can access each time to the app. In addition, Wola Schools is only open to schools that have an agreement with Wola, otherwise the school app does not show any route.
MAP VIEW
On Wola Schools parents can choose between different maps that tracks the bus school and can swipe between school routes, in the case they have more than one. This happens when they have more children or they go to sports in the afternoon and take some days different school routes.
