Detailed Description
Training courses are currently usually offered in seminars and workshops, frontal lessons, in-house or externally. The willingness to participate in training courses and to incorporate the learning content is very different, as well as the motivation to exercise training in their own interest and to apply what has been learned sustainably. For most training concepts, employees have to be freed up for a half to full day for training, and for out-of-home training, longer periods of time (access, etc.) are added. This means that the employee is not available for the production process for at least the duration of the training.
As part of this project, a training tool is developed, which increases the motivation of the employees for training and can be used at any time with little effort.
This concept is based on the basic idea of gamification - the application of game-typical elements and processes in non-game context. These typical game elements include experience points, high scores, progress bars, leaderboards, virtual goods or awards, which should motivate the employees to deal with the training content.
