About this game
STEM Play is an online multi-literacy platform (digital, mathematical and financial) for exclusive use by schools and aims to generate learning for students in a playful and fun way.Through missions, which involve themes related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), proposed by the UN and complementary activities, children can learn about programming, mathematics and finance.
FUNCTIONALITIES
As children progress on missions, they intuitively learn concepts of:
• Digital literacy: reading and writing skills adapted to the modern world, and the conscious use of technological resources;
• Mathematical literacy: skills and abilities to reason, represent, communicate, argue mathematically and solve problems.
• Financial literacy: knowledge and understanding of finance concepts, to make decisions in different contexts.
EDUCATIONAL CONTENT
The STEM Play learning path is made up of missions, with a storytelling aligned with the 17 SDG themes proposed by the UN. Children can engage in the evolution of missions, acquiring points and knowledge, with the help of characters, who develop together with the user.
Each character has a different personality type, but all are able to make the child identify, since they have characteristics and styles of the 21st century.
Thus, during the activities, on the platform, children connect with real challenges facing humanity, such as:
