The SkyCiv Mobile app is an all-in-one structural engineering toolbox. Access structural engineering tools, including a beam calculator, section database, SkyCiv model viewer and unit converter. The app allows you to run quick and easy design calculations, as well as stay connected to your SkyCiv files and models.The beam calculator is a fast and easy beam analysis tool where you can calculate the reactions, bending moment diagrams, shear force diagrams, deflection and stresses in seconds! Run calculations on a variety of beam shapes and materials such as wood, concrete or steel beams. This is connected to SkyCiv’s powerful, commercial Finite Element Method (FEA) software to provide quick and accurate results. The calculator is also connected to our Section Database so you can easily search and import common shapes. Review your deflection, shear force and bending diagrams in a concise form and even export a PDF analysis report to send to colleagues or clients.
Quickly check the exact properties of an i beam with the section database. The database includes tables form the AISC, AISI, NDS, AS 4100, CISC, European, British and Chinese libraries with more than 10,000 shapes in concrete, wood, steel or plastic. Use our quick search functionality or browse through our library to find the shape you need.
The SkyCiv app also includes a model viewer, allowing engineers to review, share and even run structural analysis on their models right from their mobile device!
Finally, the app also includes an engineering unit converter. This helps engineers convert common units for length, mass, force, loads, density, pressure and more.
