Surah Al-Ankabut is the twenty-ninth surah within parts (20 and 21) of the Holy Qur’an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from verse (41). It talks about the subject of the hypocrites, and about the lives of the previous prophets, such as Noah, Abraham, Lot, and Shuaib, peace be upon them. It also talks about monotheism and the impotence of idols that are worshiped instead of God, and about the truthfulness of the Prophet of Islam, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and the greatness of the Holy Qur’an.

Among its famous verses is the Almighty saying in the verse (41):﴿ The example of those who took from God without the guardians of the likes of the likeness of the slander, took a house, and the Almighty said in the verse (57):
