Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) is a leader in community engagement, making positive change in health equity across Atlanta communities through research, community service, and educational outreach. As one of our many focus areas, MSM’s Office of Community Engagement (OCE) aims to connect people with support and resources when and where they need it most.Through partnerships with Morehouse School of Medicine, this application aims to connect those in the Greater Atlanta Community to local events and programs that support specific needs, demographics, and health-related issues. New events and programs will be added on an ongoing basis to best support you.
KEY FEATURES
Through the Morehouse School of Medicine Community Engagement Companion App, you will be able to:
Create Your Account: Create a secure account that keeps track of the Events or Programs that are important to you.
Find Community Events and Programs: Through the use of filters, you can locate specific events and programs that support the health care needs, populations, and diseases that are most important to you.
Understand Distance from Event or Program: By turning on Location Services, you can understand your proximity to the Events or Programs you are interested in.
Add to Calendar: Once an Event or Program is identified as an interest to you, it can be added to your personal calendar so you don’t miss it.
Submit Events or Programs: For those who would like to partner with Morehouse School of Medicine to provide access to additional Events or Programs, a submission form is available in the “More” section to enable submissions, upon which the MSM OCE team will review in further detail.
