Kazem Al-Saher (September 12, 1957 -), an Iraqi singer and composer who holds dual Canadian and Qatari nationalities, Kazem Jabbar Ibrahim “Al-Saher” Al-Samarrai Al-Mawsili by birth. He is known to have composed all of his songs himself so far, with the exception of a few songs in which he used other composers. He has many titles, the most important of which are “Ambassador of the Iraqi Song” and “Caesar of the Arabic Song,” which was given to him by the late Syrian poet Nizar Qabbani.

His artistic career:
- He began his artistic career in 1981 when he sang a song entitled (Ward Al-Ashq) composed by the poet Youssef Maqsoud, and in 1984 he released his first album entitled (The Olive Tree), from the words of the poet (Assaad Al-Ghurairy), then he collaborated with the poet Aziz Al-Rassam, then with the poet The well-known Karim Al-Iraqi in the introduction to the series (Nadia) was titled “Shajaha Al-Nas” in 1987, and his first artistic success was in 1989, in the song “I crossed the beach” from the words of Aziz Al-Rassam, after which he traveled to Kuwait, then Jordan, and then Beirut, which inspired him with songs such as “I went down to the sea,” “This color,” “A lot of hadeeth,” and “I choose you, so choose me,” was his first collaboration with the poet Nizar Qabbani, and then “Zaydini in Love” and “In the School of Love,” which made him considered one of the best Arab singers.

He has two sons, Wissam, born in 1981, Omar, born in 1987, two granddaughters, Sana, born in 2011, and Aya, born in 2014 from his son Wissam. Kazem married only once in his life, to his cousin Orouba at the age of nineteen at the end of the seventies, and the marriage lasted until In 1996, he did not marry after that.
