Detailed Description

The application consists of the following services: Physical growth, Developmental milestones , Immunization schedule, Nutrition, Safety measures at home and teething.

1- Physical growth: Using basic anthropometric measurements : Weight (kg) , Height (cm) and head circumference (cm). These measurements will be plotted on WHO growth charts: Weight for age, Height for age, Weight for height, Head circumference and BMI for age. According to the z- score, the result of the plotting is displayed with an appropriate comment.

2- Developmental milestones: Using the CDC milestone development questionnaire , child is assessed for Social / Emotional, Language/ Communication, Cognitive and physical development. An age- appropriate message is given to the parents.

3- Immunization: Application contains reminders for the next vaccination according to the Egyptian EPI schedule. Also, user is asked for any side effects for current immunization session and suitable advice is given accordingly.

4- Nutrition: User is asked about method of feeding whether breastfeeding, formula milk or weaned. Also, user is asked for vitamins and minerals supplementation. Age-appropriate advice is given.

5- Safety measures: Assessment of home environmental safety regarding areas where most home injuries occur (kitchen, bathroom, living and bedroom). User will be provided with health education message according to the response of the questionnaire (for example: burns, cuts, suffocation and drowning).

6- Teething: User can track teeth eruptions of their children.

7- Finally, interpretation of all provided data will be done with a conclusive short report.
