The 2023 Cricket World Cup will be the first to feature 10 teams, up from the eight teams that competed in the 2019 tournament. The tournament will be held in India from October to November 2023.
Note: Pakistan's participation in the 2023 Cricket World Cup was subject to approval from the Government of Pakistan. However, on September 16, 2023, the Pakistan Foreign Ministry confirmed that the cricket team would travel to India to participate in the tournament.
