The World Cup will be played in Twenty20 International style, with a match lasting 20 overs. During the Justice World Cup, twenty different brigades will play one another in the One Day International( ODI) format series, with an aggregate of fifty- five matches listed.
The draws and T20 World Cup 2024 schedule was announced by the International Cricket Council on Friday.
Defending T20 World Cup champions England are in Group B alongside rivals Australia. Hosts West Indies, the two-time champions, are in Group C with New Zealand. Co-hosts USA will play Canada in the opening match on June 1 in Dallas, Texas.
A total of 20 teams, divided into four groups of five, will play 55 matches at the T20 World Cup 2024. The top two teams from each group will move to a Super Eight phase, where the remaining sides will be split into two groups of four. The top two in each group will then make their way to the semi-finals.

In May 2023, CWI began a thorough bidding process for countries in the Caribbean region and the United States willing to host the matches of the T20 WORLD CUP 2024.

The T20 World Cup 2024 group stage will be held from June 1 to 18, followed by the Super Eight phase from June 19 to 24. The semi-finals will be on June 26 and 27 in Guyana and Trinidad, respectively, while the final will be on June 29 in Barbados.
The World Cup 2024 Schedule edition will have 20 teams for the first time. Initially, these teams will be split into four groups of five, which is not how groups are usually organized. Each group’s top two teams will move on to the Super Eight stage.
T20 World Cup Point Table: Six teams each in Group 1 and Group 2 will jostle for supremacy with the top two from each group going on to play the semifinal. Besides, four teams each in Group A and Group B will play in the Qualifiers, out of which four will qualify for Group 1 and 2.
