Mufid Mas'ud during his lifetime, of course became wirid number two after the wirid of the holy verses of the Koran.The re-writing of this wirid was to fulfill the demand of many who wanted the book of Dalailul Khairat to be reprinted specifically for the Sunan Pandanaran extended family, just like the arrangement received by KH Mufid Mas'ud from his teachers.
