Detailed Description

The "Brightness Dimmer" app dims the screen brightness lower than the system default setting value. It dims the whole screen including notifications, status bar, and navigation bar. If you use the app during the night (with night/dark mode) much, you will love the app. It is basically a brightness control app with more customizations.

Features:

Brightness Manager:
You can adjust the screen brightness using the slider. Every time you increase or decrease the slider, it adjusts the overlay on the screen accordingly. You can reduce the screen brightness all the way to zero.

Screen Dimmer:
There is an option to select the overlay color. If you select black, you can dim the screen such that it protects your eyes from strain.

Lower than System Default Setting Value:
By default, you can not adjust the screen brightness all the way to zero. If you use your phone during the night, it affects your eyes. But, using the app, you can reduce it to all the way zero and your eyes feel relaxed.

Select the Overlay Color You Like:
It's not only black or dark, you can select the overlay color you like. For example, if you select the pink color, you will see a pink color overlay on the screen. It occupies the whole device size including the system bars (both status bar and navigation bar) and notification panel.

Protect Your Eyes from Strain:
If the huge white color comes out of the screen, it hurts your eyes. Using the app, if you decrease the brightness, you can easily protect your eyes.

Dims the Whole Screen including Notifications:
There are no limits on applying the overlay to the screen. When you set the opacity value, it completely decreases the brightness from top to bottom and right to left of the device screen. It includes the notification panel, status bar, and navigation bar.

Control the Brightness from the Notification:
You can increase or decrease brightness from the notification itself. You don't need to open the app for that. There are 3 buttons. Increase (plus), decrease (minus), and shut down. Tap on the plus button, it increases the brightness. Tap on the minus button, it decreases the brightness. Tap on the shutdown button, it stops the service and removes the color overlay applied on the screen.

Shake to turn off:
If you want to reset the screen brightness, just shake the phone. The service will be stopped.
