The launch date for Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 has been officially announced. The show hosted by Malayalam actor Mohanlal will commence on March 10, 2024. What is Big Boss?
Bigg Boss Malayalam is a reality show where 15 well-known personalities from various fields live together in a specially designed house, known as the Bigg Boss house, for 100 days. During this period, contestants are isolated from the outside world, with no access to phones, internet, television, newspapers, or clocks. However, all necessary amenities for their stay are provided within the house.
Contestants are responsible for all household chores, including cooking, laundry, and cleaning, following instructions given by Bigg Boss. Each week, tasks are assigned to the contestants, and the winner becomes the captain of the house for that week. Actor Mohanlal interacts with the contestants every Saturday and Sunday, serving as their only link to the outside world.
Throughout the program, contestants face elimination through a voting process. Every week, contestants nominate each other for elimination, and those with the most nominations face public voting. The audience ultimately decides who gets eliminated, with the evictions typically occurring on Sundays.

Malayalam 6 is on March 10th, hosted by Mohanlal. Diverse contestants including Santhwanam's Jayanthi, Apsara, Saranya Anand, actor Krishna, and Mudiyan aka Rishi Kumar will grace the revamped Bigg Boss house
The sixth season of Bigg Boss, the Malayalam-language adaptation of the Indian reality television series produced by Endemol Shine India and Banijay, will air on Asianet with a 24/7 deferred stream available on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform. Hosted by Mohanlal for the sixth year in a row, the season is set to premiere on 10 March 2024. Asianet has already unveiled the show's logo and promo.
Production
Asianet unveiled the new Bigg Boss Malayalam season 6 logo and commoner audition promo on January 5, 2024. The first promo featuring Mohanlal hints at an unpredictable season and premiered on February 4.[4] The second promo, premiered on February 11, features Mohanlal revealing that there will be four bedrooms in this season.[5]
Eye Logo
The eye logo this season has a metallic blue hue with a yellowish golden strike, which is similar to the colors used in the logo for the first season of the show. The specific shade of blue used in the logo is a dark, navy blue with a hint of green. The golden strike, with its lighter yellow colour, has the look of the number '6', akin to a fiery thunder
