Detailed Description

Saborea La Palma is the project led by the Sociedad de Promoción Económica de La Palma (SODEPAL S.A.U.), a public company dependent on the Cabildo Insular de La Palma, for the revaluation and positioning of La Palma gastronomy in regional, national and international markets.

Under the brand launched by Turespaña in 2010, therefore counting on the knowledge, support and notoriety of a brand like Saborea España, Saborea La Palma seeks to enhance the island's gastronomy through various action plans, which begin by bringing together everything that makes up a gastronomic experience on the Isla Bonita.

With this program, Sodepal will try to excite through gastronomy, discover and rediscover flavors and sensations to visitors and locals, and take culinary proposals, loaded with a legacy and history that make it unique, to the highest levels of the panorama worldwide in the gastronomy sector.

The Isla Bonita has an immensity of gastronomic resources, the use of which by a sector with knowledge, experience and talent has completely transformed the island's gastronomy in recent years.

There can only be one protagonist in these lines: the gastronomic sector of the island, from the productive fabric, the restoration and their families. A whole group of citizens involved with the island's gastronomy.

These are difficult times, in which the catering sector and local producers have been among the hardest hit. From the Saborea La Palma project, the entire SODEPAL team, as well as personally, as CEO of Sodepal, and on behalf of our president of the Cabildo Insular de La Palma, we want to extend our recognition, support and admiration, for a job thanks to which the island of La Palma is a gastronomic tourist destination without equal.
